A man is in custody after a nearly 12-hour barricade situation in the southwest valley.
The event began when police were serving a search warrant on the 7800 block of Flagler Street at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. The person served the warrant refused to cooperate.

Metropolitan Police Department officer Officer Larry Hadfield said he did not know who was inside. Metro’s SWAT team was at the scene as of 4:45 p.m. Wednesday.
As of 7:15 p.m., police said a person was taken into custody.
