Woman dies after being injured in fire

A North Las Vegas woman who was injured in an apartment fire early last month died Monday morning.

Teresa Odwyer, 70, was taken to University Medical Center after firefighters responded to a May 2 fire at her apartment at Salvation Army Silvercrest Apartments, 2801 Ecuador Ave., near Cheyenne Avenue and Civic Center Drive.

About 80 percent of her body was covered in severe burns.

The Clark County coroner's office has not yet released the official cause of death.

The cause of the fire hasn't been released. No one else was injured .
