Wreck ties up traffic at Desert Inn and Jones

Traffic is creeping at the intersection of Desert Inn Road and South Jones Boulevard.

Las Vegas police responded to the intersection at 10:52 a.m. Tuesday, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said, but details of the crash were unavailable at 11 a.m.

Several units were on-scene to redirect traffic, Meltzer said, and at least one vehicle was involved.

Westbound lanes of Desert Inn and two southbound lanes of Jones are closed.

There’s no word on injuries.
