Motorcyclist dies after Arizona accident
KINGMAN, Ariz. — A motorcyclist injured in a collision with a vehicle in Bullhead City, Ariz., on Wednesday died of his injuries Thursday morning at University Medical Center.
Marcus Lefrance Cooper, 44, of Bullhead City, was flown to the Las Vegas hospital after the 1 p.m. crash at the intersection of Arizona Highway 95 and Seventh Street, according to Bullhead City Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt.
Fromelt said Cooper was traveling north on the highway when a 2008 Buick LaCrosse struck him while its driver was making a left turn into a post office driveway. The driver of the vehicle, Carmelita Mary Otly, 94, of Bullhead City, was listed in stable condition at a local hospital.
The accident remained under investigation.
