Legacy’s girls basketball team created 26 turnovers — and finished with 16 steals — to run away with a 58-35 victory over Las Vegas High in pool play of the Liberty Invitational at Liberty on Friday.
Damonte Ranch (12-1) unseated powerhouse Reed last week to capture its first Class 4A Northern Region title and takes on Liberty in the state semifinals at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at McQueen High in Reno.
