Softball
Holly Severence homered and drove in three runs Saturday to help the Desert Oasis softball team beat Silverado 14-6 in six innings in the championship game of the Colorado River Invitational in Needles, California.
Ashley Ward went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and two RBIs to lead the Coronado’s softball team to a 12-5 win over Torrance (California) at the Tournament of Champions in Bullhead City, Arizona.
Torii Forsberg went 4-for-4 with two doubles, three runs and two RBIs as Arbor View’s softball team routed Las Vegas in four innings at the Battle of the Bats Tournament, 16-3 on Thursday.
