The Shadow Ridge softball team sent 11 batters to the plate in a seven-run inning and cruised to an 11-1 victory over Banning (California) in five innings in the third-place game of the Spring Jamboree.

Shelbi Denman threw 157 pitches to lift Shadow Ridge’s softball team to a 9-7 six-inning victory over North Torrance (California) on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Spring Jamboree at Majestic Park.

The Sierra Vista Mountain Lions softball team was able to find a way to score a run through the blowing winds at Boulder City and topped the Eagles 1-0 on the road Friday afternoon.
All-state pitcher Sam Pochop came on for a one-out save, and Rancho withstood a late power surge from the Wildcats to claim a 6-5 road victory.
Selena Erickson was 4-for-4 with a double, four runs and six RBIs, including a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning, to propel Del Sol’s softball team to an 11-7 home win over Tech on Thursday.
