Austin Moncrief had 13 kills, and Martin Rodriguez added 12 kills and 10 digs Wednesday as Rancho’s boys volleyball team secured a 21-25, 25-14, 25-15, 24-26, 15-5 victory over host Sierra Vista.
Las Vegas High’s Chris Kampshoff had 20 kills and eight digs on Tuesday, and T.J. Esporas added 14 kills, 10 digs and four blocks to help the host Wildcats outlast defending state champion Coronado, 25-20, 25-19, 29-31, 17-25, 15-13.
Quinn Peterson and Carter Johnson each had 24 kills Monday to help Shadow Ridge’s boys volleyball team rally for a 20-25, 21-25, 25-13, 25-23, 15-7 victory at Silverado.
Andrew Weston had 21 assists Saturday as Palo Verde’s boys volleyball team defeated Cienega (Ariz.) 2-0 for third place in the Falcon Invitational in Catalina Foothills, Ariz.
Tanner Compton racked up 17 kills, six digs and three blocks, and Zaire Franklin added 16 kills and five digs Friday to help Legacy’s boys volleyball team to a 26-24, 25-17, 21-25, 28-26 win at Arbor View.
Max Osmundson had 20 kills Thursday to help Coronado’s boys volleyball team to a 27-29, 25-20, 25-22, 25-21 win at Centennial.
