1-year-old girl drowns in North Las Vegas
A 1-year-old girl drowned at a North Las Vegas mobile home park today after possibly falling into a bucket of water, North Las Vegas police said.
A woman rushed the child to a medical office complex about a block away from the park at 2001 E. Tonopah Avenue around noon Thursday. The girl was unresponsive when paramedics arrived and tried to perform CPR.
She was then taken to University Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.
North Las Vegas police continue to investigate.
