Aguilera-guitarist link rumored in blog

Perez Hilton is suggesting there's a romantic link between newly single mom Christina Aguilera and Benji Madden, the Good Charlotte guitarist and Vegas DJ.

"We haven't been able to confirm it but we keep hearing about a possible close friendship or more," Perez posts.

(Yes indeed, confirmation of unconfirmed rumors is hard to confirm.)

But I have to say, Madden was nowhere to be seen at or near Aguilera (who's getting a divorce) this weekend at Planet Hollywood during Justin Timberlake's charity concert. He wasn't backstage, or near her limo, or nada.

Madden was also nowhere near club Tao, where Aguilera took a team of dancers and besties to hang after Timberlake's show. (Aguilera was mellow at the club at first, but got into the groove and ended up dancing with peeps.)

On the one hand, you'd think Madden would not hang with Aguilera in Vegas, because he wouldn't do that to Holly Madison, since they ended things in a friendly way.

Then again, it's been months since Madison and Madden ended it, so it probably wouldn't bother her. Madison is nice, but "nice" is not another word for "weak."

It is, of course, possible Madden and Aguilera could have met secretly in Vegas outside of the purview of everyone, or outside of Vegas. But they definitely weren't seen in the same vicinity publicly or backstage.

THE MOSTLY NAKED TEEN

I guess Vegas has a lot of nearly naked teens. I just never think of performers that way -- as teens.

To wit, I went to see Playboy's Miss October Claire Sinclair strip and dance in the MGM Grand topless revue "Crazy Horse Paris." (She's there through Thursday.)

Beforehand, she told me she liked her custom-fitted costume: "It's the best lingerie I've ever worn."

She confessed having never been onstage. And she loves "amazing" Vegas.

"I want to live here one day," she said.

Then I watched her take her clothes off and dance, flashing her million-dollar smirk.

Then I realized she's 19 years old. ... Kinda old, no?

MY POLITICAL PITCH

I'm going to keep saying this until it gets enacted into law.

Dear Nevada lawmakers, please approve weekend weddings (temporary marriages) that last 72 hours and come with absolute video prenups, child support clauses and automatic expirations, available to straight and gay people.

Vegas loves money. Weekend w eddings would bring more money. Plus, it would be a safety net for drunks.

SIGHTINGS

Still no word on who the friend was whom Kirsten Dunst was giving a private dance to Saturday night in the VIP area at club Vanity. An industry friend of mine, says of Dunst, "That girl can drink." ... Chef Kerry Simon taught Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola of "Jersey Shore" how to make cotton candy in the kitchen, when she showed up for the devilish Sunday brunch at Simon at Palms Place. But, you know, Simon is a health nut, so they shared a tomato, avocado and ham omelet, instead of gorging (as I do) on the outlandishly fattening junk f ood platter and handfuls of sushi, shrimp and short ribs. ... Jewel and a young girl split tacos at Hussong's Cantina at the Shoppes at Mandalay Place over the weekend. Who was the girl? ... Look for me tonight at Penn & Teller (then maybe at Revolution for Neon Trees), and Wednesday at El Cortez for Jackie Gaughan's birthday celebration.
