Body found in Las Vegas apartment blaze

A man's body was found in a burned-out Naked City apartment tonight.

Las Vegas firefighters were called to a single-story, four-unit apartment building at 234 W. Cleveland Ave. just before 9 p.m. One of the units near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue was engulfed in flames.

When fire investigators entered the building, they found the unidentified body. The cause of death has not been determined. Las Vegas police detectives are investigating the fatality.

Residents of the other apartments had to be evacuated because of the fire. A financial estimate of the damage caused by the blaze was not available.
