California man dies after hit by pickup on Laughlin’s Casino Drive

A 62-year-old California man died when he was struck by a pickup while crossing a road in Laughlin on Saturday, authorities said.

The man was walking with his wife on Casino Drive south of Bruce Woodbury Drive about 8:45 p.m. when he entered the right lane of southbound Casino Drive, Las Vegas police said.

The man, whose name was not released, was struck by a pickup driven by Jack Lebsock, 68, of Akron, Colo.

Police said pedestrian error was the cause of the crash. The investigation remained ongoing.
