California man dies in I-15 car crash
A 56-year-old Pomona, Calif., man died early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 15, about 13 miles south of Moapa.
The preliminary investigation indicates the man was driving a 1995 Infinity sedan south on I-15 in the right lane when the vehicle turned sharply to the left, said trooper Kevin Honea of the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The sedan rotated into the left lane, went into the center median and overturned.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His four passengers were taken to University Medical Center. Their conditions were not immediately known.
