Catholic Charities donates Thanksgiving food

Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is distributing free turkeys and side dishes to clients who are picking up other items from its onsite food pantry. The holiday food will be given out through Thanksgiving Day.

About 3,800 turkeys are expected to be donated to families in need this year.

Donations can be made at Catholic Charities, 1501 Las Vegas Blvd. North, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.. Call 702-385-2662 for more information.
