Colorado man dies after apparent heart attack at Lake Mead

According to National Park Service rangers at Lake Mead, a Colorado man has died of an apparent heart attack while jet-skiing at about 10 a.m. Saturday in Hemenway Harbor.

People with the man began CPR while transporting him to shore, according to the Park Service.

Medics arrived in a patrol boat and continued CPR on the 51-year-old unidentified man.

His vitals had been restored when he was taken by helicopter to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Clark County Coroner's Office will determine the cause of death.
