■ In a sports column in Monday's Las Vegas Review-Journal, the final out of Don Larsen's perfect game was misidentified. Larsen struck out Dale Mitchell to end Game 5 of the 1956 World Series.
■ In Jane Ann Morrison's Monday column about hoarding, the tonnage was incorrect. As of Sunday, 18 truckloads of contaminated stuff were removed from a hoarder's home, and each truck held 1 ton.
■ In a story about Ayn Rand in Sunday's Living section, a source incorrectly stated that Rand attended Alan Greenspan's swearing-in ceremony as chairman of the Federal Reserve Board. While the former Fed chief credited Rand with being a significant influence and they were friends until her death in 1982, Greenspan wasn't sworn in until 1987.
■ Also in Sunday's Living section, the date for the North Las Vegas Emblem Club's holiday bazaar was incorrect. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 1 at the North Las Vegas Elks Lodge, 2939 Van Der Meer St.
■ Because of misinformation from the Southern Nevada Health District, it was incorrectly reported in the Oct. 3 edition of the Review-Journal that a local horse was euthanized after contracting West Nile virus. The horse is still alive, according to the health department.
