Former District Attorney David Roger was quoted in a Feb. 2 column by Jane Ann Morrison saying crime dropped 45 percent while he was in office. He based that on incorrect calculations from the Las Vegas police department, police acknowledged Friday. The crime index dropped 31 percent while Roger was in office.
