Juan Serros is known for his many delicious Mexican dishes, but customers come for his Flaming Fajitas (beef, chicken, pork, shrimp) made with grilled onions and bell peppers, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo and choice of tortilla. They are served with soup and rice and beans or grilled vegetables. The menu continues with ranchero-style tacos (cabbage, guacamole, cilantro, onions, queso fresco), tamales, enchiladas, chile relleno, chimichangas, burritos (chorizo and egg, chili Colorado, green chile pork), fish tacos, tostadas and vegetarian specialties such as guacamole tacos and vegetarian burritos with spinach, mushrooms, zucchini, tomato, onions, broccoli and cauliflower. House favorites are steak ranchero, mariscos adobados (shrimp, scallops, seabass), chicharrones or crispy pork, steak or chicken poblano and mulitas, layered corn tortillas. There are soups, salads (shrimp ceviche, grilled vegetable) and appetizers such as taquitos, fajita nachos and guacamole made at the table. Fun desserts are sopapillas, churros, flan and fried ice cream. Lunch specials are served Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Flaming Fajitas begin at $13.95. Juan’s is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. — Jack Bulavsky
