Expect delays on Strip for NASCAR Victory Lap on Thursday

Although no road closures are planned, motorists on the south Strip can expect traffic delays between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Thursday for the annual NASCAR Victory Lap.

NASCAR racecars will parade from Planet Hollywood northbound to Spring Mountain Road. At Spring Mountain, they will make a U-turn southbound to Harmon Avenue and a U-turn once more to return in front of Planet Hollywood.

Las Vegas Police officers will be present during the event to assist with traffic control.

NASCAR Victory Lap is part of NASCAR Champions Week in Las Vegas. This year's Sprint Cup champion, Brad Keselowski, is being honored.
