Fire displaces Henderson family

A Henderson family was displaced by a fire that caused $150,000 in damage Friday afternoon.

Henderson firefighters responded to the blaze in the area of Center Street and Fullerton Avenue about 4:30 p.m.

Heavy flames and smoke were showing from the front and back of the single story home. The owner was at home and called for emergency assistance while trying to put the fire out.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, and no one was injured. Two adults, one child and the family pet were displaced.

The blaze caused extensive damage throughout the home.
