Free throws carry Gorman boys to state basketball crown

After watching the school's girls team lose a game on free throws in the final second, Bishop Gorman's boys got revenge. Johnathan Loyd hit the front end of a one-and-one with 1.8 seconds remaining to lift Gorman to a 56-55 win over Palo Verde in the Class 4A state championship game at the Orleans Arena tonight.
