GayDays gets going in Las Vegas

GayDays Las Vegas started on Friday and is running through Sunday.

The expo, sponsored by QVegas Business Alliance, takes place at the Luxor. Pool parties, a business expo, brunch, slot tournament and other events will happen over the three days.

GayDays is nothing new, as an annual celebration has taken place in Orlando for the past 23 years. Meanwhile, this is the second installment of GayDays Las Vegas. The Orlando events have attracted more than 170,000 people, and 35,000 are expected for this year’s Las Vegas version.

Chris Alexander-Manley, GayDays president, said in Friday’s article in the Review-Journal, “We’re looking forward to making this an annual event.” GayDays is already set to return next September.
