Grand Canal Shoppes offer shows

The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian has announced a variety of new, family-friendly shows entitled "Carnevale di Venezia." The complimentary performances feature six different shows throughout the day showcasing Italian folk music and opera performed by trained vocalists and musicians. They incorporate upbeat, lively music akin to the feel of Carnevale.

In addition to the musical element, the troupe of performers ranges from jugglers to stilt walkers to living statues. Each is incorporated into every show to add an unexpected element of entertainment that will embellish the center's unique and vibrant atmosphere. Cast members are dressed in Commedia Dell' Arte costumes to reflect the Italian Renaissance Period.

Carnevale di Venezia performances occur daily in St. Mark's Square. On any given day, there are approximately 30 small performances that unexpectedly delight and entertain shoppers.
