Hard Rock Hotel to begin process of hiring 800 people for expansion

The Hard Rock Hotel on June 22 will hold the first in a series of job fairs to fill positions for the property's $750 million expansion, the company announced this morning.

The initial job fair will seek to fill housekeeping positions. The two-day fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. next Monday, and from 3 until 7 p.m. on June 23.

Dates for additional job fairs for various positions — including bartenders, on-call dealers, front desk and room reservation agents, bellmen — will be announced later.

The property, located on the corner of Harmon Avenue and Paradise Road, said earlier this month it will hire 800 more workers this year for the expansion, which includes two new hotel towers and other amenities.
