Harrah’s Interactive Entertainment to be based in Montreal

Harrah's Interactive Entertainment, the new subsidiary of Harrah's Entertainment established to oversee the World Series of Poker's growth online and internationally, will be based in Montreal, according to the Montreal Gazette.

Harrah's Entertainment announced May 22 the hiring of Montreal native Mitch Garber as chief executive officer of the new subsidiary.

Garber will manage the the World Series of Poker staff based in Las Vegas and England from Montreal. The Montreal office is expected to grow from its current staff of 10 to hundreds of workers in customer service and Web design.
