Henderson man killed in crash

A 23-year-old Henderson man died Tuesday night after his pickup crashed into a light pole and a block wall, police said. The Clark County coroner's office identified the man Wednesday as Taylor Jasper.

Henderson police said Jasper was driving south on Valle Verde Drive near Windmill Parkway about 9 p.m. when his vehicle left the road. It crossed over the sidewalk before crashing into the pole and wall.

Police said the truck then traveled across Valle Verde before striking a chain-link fence and coming to rest.
