Homeless man found dead near freeway

A man police believe to be homeless was found dead in brush near U.S. Highway 95 and Desert Inn Road on Friday afternoon.

The man, in his late 30s or early 40s, was discovered by people walking through the area.

Las Vegas police said the victim, who had head wounds, might have been homeless and camping on the freeway siding when he was struck about the head.
