Homicide victim, discovered Friday, identified

The homicide victim discovered Friday afternoon in the 4400 block of Jimmy Durante Boulevard has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Christopher Matley, of Las Vegas, died from multiple stab wounds. The 33 year old’s body was discovered about 1 p.m.

Las Vegas police said the suspect is black, of medium build, and 25 to 28 years old. He stands between 5 feet 6 and 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored knit cap, a dark-colored hoodie and dark pants.

He goes by “DJ” and is missing one of his front teeth.

Police are also looking for DJ in connection with an armed carjacking Saturday morning in the southeast valley.

The car is a 2005 Toyota Scion four-door hatchback. Its license plate number is 535-RWZ.
