Human Nature may move to Venetian
Construction related to The Linq project at Imperial Palace has become an issue in negotiations between headliners Human Nature and Caesars Entertainment.
A well-placed source told Vegas Confidential on Tuesday that it appeared the Australian Motown group was on the verge of moving to The Venetian.
Human Nature producer Adam Steck said that talks were continuing but acknowledged the construction has had a negative impact on the show, which opened three years ago and got a two-year extension in June 2010.
"With the construction going on, it's been challenging. It's hard to get in," Steck said.
About a year of construction remains on the 18-month, $550 million project that will transform the alley between Imperial Palace and the Flamingo into an entertainment, restaurant and shopping district.
"We're doing everything we possibly can with Caesars," Steck said. "We're trying very hard to make it work, but it's been tough on the performers with the dust and such."
