Information sought in fatal shooting in North Las Vegas

A 23-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday, North Las Vegas police said.

The identity of the deceased man was not released.

Police said they found the man with multiple gunshot wounds about 12:57 a.m. on the 1700 block of Yale Street, near Main Street and Owens Avenue. He was taken to University Medical Center where he died a short time later.

Police said the man lived in the neighborhood and was returning home when he was shot. No arrests have been made in the slaying.

Police are looking for information about a late model white or silver Chrysler 300 and a red sport-utility vehicle, possibly a GMC Jimmy or a Chevrolet Blazer, seen near the scene about the time of the shooting.
