The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a juvenile who was struck and killed by a car on the Las Vegas Beltway near Charleston Boulevard tonight.
The juvenile was running across the southbound lanes of the highway with three or four other juveniles when the fatal incident occurred at 7 p.m., NHP Trooper Kevin Honea said.
The driver of the car that struck the juvenile is cooperating with authorities.
