Lady Gaga ditches Cosmo for Palms

Lady Gaga switched hotels last week, moving out of The Cosmopolitan after one night because she reportedly wanted a room with a pool.

So she's been camping out at the Palms and Hugh Hefner's suite, which features a cantilevered Jacuzzi affinity pool that extends out near the top floor of the Fantasy Towers.

The pop star checked into The Cosmopolitan on Tuesday and was seen entering Dream Vision Studios on Russell Road on Wednesday, escorted by heavy security.

She moved into the Fantasy Tower on Wednesday night and was rumored to be leaving today. Her stay included sessions in the recording studio inside the Fantasy Tower.

She was in town to perform in the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden.

Gaga's rep, Amanda Silverman, told the New York Post's Page Six column there was no "drama" involved.

"She moved to The Palms to do a recording. She had some meetings. She switched because she had stayed at The Palms before. It wasn't like she hated her room. She doesn't care about that stuff."

Lady Gaga made her Las Vegas debut at The Pearl, the Palms concert venue, in December 2009.

There have been unconfirmed rumors that she's made a number of under-the-radar visits to work on her albums and dined in disguise at Simon at Palms Place.
