Las Vegas police release video of Fremont Street shooting
Las Vegas police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that wounded two bystanders on Fremont Street in June.
The altercation began between two people and escalated, police said.
Early in the morning on June 8, security cameras captured a man who was involved in a fight pull out a gun and fire at another person involved in the altercation, according to police.
The fight broke out under the Fremont Street Experience canopy about 2 a.m. Saturday morning, amidst crowds of visitors to the 12.5-million bulb light show who were milling about.
Video shows the suspect, dressed casually in a white baseball cap, black T-shirt and tan cargo shorts, approach the fight and then retreat.
After a few seconds, he rejoined the fray, appeared to pull a weapon out of waistband, shot at a man in a white T-shirt and jean shorts and then ran away.
The crowd dispersed, and the video shows a single person lying on the ground. The person on the ground was involved in the fight, and was knocked out seconds before the shooting, the video shows.
Two people not involved in the fight were struck by the gunfire. They were treated and released from University Medical Center.
The suspected shooter, who ran from the scene, is described as a 17- to 22-year-old man, about 5-foot, 8-inches with a medium build and short dark hair.

No arrests have been made in this incident and the investigation is ongoing.
