Las Vegas resident, 30, dies in single-car crash on Beltway
A single-vehicle wreck on the northern leg of the Las Vegas Beltway, near Lamb Boulevard, left a 30-year-old Las Vegas man dead Thursday night, authorities said.
The man, driving a Pontiac GT, was heading west on the Beltway when the car drifted off the road about 6:40 p.m., said trooper Kevin Honea of the Nevada Highway Patrol.
As the Pontiac left the roadway, it began to spin out, and it overturned. The driver, who was not wearing his seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, Honea said.
