Local grad played in Super Bowl ad

Aspiring actor Stephen Steelman, who grew up in Las Vegas, recently signed with a new commercial agent in Hollywood.

The first audition the agency sent him to turned into portfolio gold.

Steelman, a 2002 graduate of Bishop Gorman High School, landed a spot in Bud Light's Super Bowl commercial that tied for first among favorite ads.

Steelman played the guy who was leaving his house and told a dog sitter that the dogs were "really smart" and will do "whatever you tell 'em."

In the next scene a house party is being catered by dogs, including a flirtatious horn dog who had eyes for a hot cocktail server.

"That was pretty cool," said Steelman, whose father, Paul, is a prominent hotel-casino architect.

"I'm just grateful," said Stephen Steelman, "and now it's just back to the grind and see what I can get."
