Man dies in stabbing in central valley

An unidentified 22-year-old man died of stab wounds after an early fight today in the central valley, Las Vegas police said.

The man died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Police arrested 24-year-old Edgar Magana, who was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of murder with a deadly weapon.

At 3:33 a.m., police were called to 953 Sahara Ave., near Maryland Parkway, after a fight involving numerous people was reported. Upon arrival, they discovered the 22-year-old man in a business parking lot. Police said security officers working at a restaurant had chased down Magana and taken him into custody.
