Man dies in traffic accident in northwest Arizona

A Kingman man was dead at the scene of a Thursday traffic accident on Historic Route 66 in northwest Arizona.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said 25-year-old Mark Chamberlain was fatally injured in the two vehicle collision reported at 4:04 p.m. one mile north of the Kingman city limits.

The department said Chamberlain failed to yield at a stop sign while crossing the highway and that his Honda was struck by an oncoming freight truck.

The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
