Man shot when police said he broke into former girlfriend’s home identified

The Henderson resident who was shot to death Sunday morning has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Frank E. Brzozowski , 49, broke into his former girlfriend’s apartment through a window at about 2 a.m. after she wouldn’t let him in the front door, said Henderson spokesman Keith Paul.

They had been arguing at a party the night before.

A male acquaintance of the woman was with her in the apartment. He was armed, and when Brzozowski wouldn’t stop advancing, he shot him, Paul said.

The shooter and woman were not arrested, according to the report sent out by the City of Henderson. Detectives were still investigating the incident.
