Man wounded in shooting near Stratosphere

One person was shot near the Stratosphere late Monday night, according to Las Vegas police.

Police received reports of a shooting north of the casino about 9:30 p.m. and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to University Medical Center with injuries that weren’t life-threatening, police said.

Witnesses told officers they saw multiple people fleeing the scene in a red pickup truck. Police are still searching for those who may be involved.
