Mayweather sings Puerto Rico praises

Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s love of luxury cars and blinding bling is no secret.

But it took a member of the Puerto Rican media with a flip camera to score this juicy soundbite for the folks back home.

During Tuesday's arrival of the fighters in the lobby of the MGM Grand, the media guy engaged Mayweather with one of those TMZ-esque, point-and-shoot interviews.

It went something like this: "I love the people of Puerto Rico. I love your basketball players. I love your baseball players. I love your cockfights."

Should we be surprised that Mayweather has found something else to bet on?

We'll find out Saturday how much affection Mayweather has for Puerto Rico's Miguel Cotto. The oddsmakers love Mayweather.

"There was a frenzy. ... Many girls were trying to get up to his cabana but were unsuccessful," a spy told Page Six.
