Michelle Obama brings Let’s Move to Las Vegas

First lady Michelle Obama will visit Las Vegas on Tuesday to encourage families to spend more time in the great outdoors.

At the Red Rock Canyon visitor center, Obama will launch part of her Let's Move campaign against childhood obesity, White House officials said.

The Let's Move Outside campaign will promote outdoor activities and public lands and national parks.

The time for the event has not been finalized at either 2:45 or 3 p.m., according to the office of Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., which is directing people to get there by the earlier time.

Obama will swear in a group of children as Junior Rangers, a National Park Service designation for young explorers, according to Reid, who will appear with the first lady.
