Photos: Red flag exercises, a gas station in the sky

A KC-135 Stratotanker from the 93rd Air Refueling Squadron from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. served as a gas station in the sky for many aircraft participating in Red Flag exercises over the Nevada Test and Training Range.

Red Flag is an advanced air-to-air combat training exercise held at Nellis Air Force Base. The exercise draws combat air forces from the United States and many allied nations.
