Motorists warned to stay clear of U2 concert tonight

Las Vegas police are asking that motorists not attending tonight’s U2 concert stay clear of Sam Boyd Stadium as traffic delays are expected with the concert crowd alone.

Police are primarily concerned about Boulder Highway between Sunset Road and Tropicana Avenue; and Russell Road between Broadbent Boulevard and U.S. Highway 95.

Motorists should expect lane shifts and travel restrictions between 5 p.m. and midnight to accommodate the traffic.
