Music festival to make Vegas debut at speedway

Insomniac Events will bring the world's top musical talent to this year's Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas. Superstar performers are set to headline the three-day festival June 24-26 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

"I'm pleased to share that Tiësto, David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia will headline this year's festival," said Pasquale Rotella, founder of Insomniac. "These world-famous musicians will perform alongside hundreds of other artists and performers who help create EDC's unique atmosphere. Kicking off the highly anticipated event June 24, Tiësto is the perfect fit to set the tone for the 15th annual festival. His list of achievements are endless, including a Grammy nomination, numerous MTV awards, performing at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, major worldwide tours and continuously sold out shows.

Multiplatinum artist and in-demand producer Guetta will grace the stage June 25. His signature sound of quirky, electro, house and dirty pop has been admired by fans, critics and pop artists alike. With collaborations alongside Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, and Madonna, Guetta has elevated the genre's fan base to a popularity level never seen before.

Swedish House Mafia is a combination of three of the top talents in the DJ industry: Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell. Respected as artists individually, the trio combines to bring their raw energy and entrancing beats to the stage June 26.
