Lake Havasu City man fatally injured in off-roading rollover

A Lake Havasu City man was fatally injured in an off-roading rollover Tuesday.

The Mohave County sheriff’s office said Allan Michael Kruis, 60, was dead at the scene of the accident near Bison Boulevard, just a half mile east of the Lake Havasu City limits.

Agency spokeswoman Trish Carter said Kruis was trying to navigate a mountain trail when he rolled the utility vehicle he was operating off a mountainside. She said Kruis’ grandson was ejected, but suffered only minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
