San Francisco has a human poop map

Oh, poo. That’s the sentiment behind a new interactive map that tracks reports of human excrement by the public in San Francisco.

Jennifer Wong, a civil-engineer-turned-web-developer, created Human Wasteland and submitted her work to a cyber competition, “SF office Fall 2014 Hack Week.” Guess what? She won, engadget.com reports.

In an interview with Learn to Code With Me, Wong said she made the career switch in order to participate in a “fast-paced and innovative” industry.

The only missed opportunity? Calling her project “Crap Map.”
