Search on for rafter missing in Grand Canyon

GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. — Authorities are searching for an Arizona man who reportedly fell into the Colorado River while on a rafting trip in Grand Canyon National Park.

The National Park Service says it received a phone call from a commercial river trip operator Friday afternoon. The rafting company reported that one passenger was missing.

Authorities say Victor Tseng of Phoenix reportedly fell from a ledge into the river and was not wearing his floatation device at the time.

The 68-year-old man was last seen by members of his party below Havasu Rapids.

Park Service authorities say search and rescue teams combed the area by air and boat Saturday and continued by boat Sunday. The teams have not found any signs of Tseng.
