Pole enthusiasts from around the country competed on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 in the National Aerial Pole Art Championship at the Star Theatre in Las Vegas. The contestants were judged on fluidity, style, strength, and flexibility among other traits. This is the first time that the event, in which 10 women and five men competed, has been held in Las Vegas. Pole fitness has increased in popularity in recent years as an alternative to traditional workouts.

Journalist Don Lemon has been arrested after he entered a Minnesota church and recorded anti-immigration enforcement protesters who disrupted a service in an incident that increased tensions between residents and the Trump administration, his lawyer said Friday.
