Bands preparing to give you a jolt

How does pandemonium hit the palate? Like a gallon drum of energy drink, dude. Or so the annual "Taste of Chaos" tour suggests. Sponsored by Rock Star energy drink, the testosterone-heavy outing aims to be the rock 'n' roll equivalent of small-arms fire. This year, the tour features So-Cal screamers Atreyu, Brit longhairs Bullet For My Valentine and emotive Arizona hard-hitters Blessthefall, among others. Remember, kids, drink plenty of water. See the show at 7 p.m. Tuesday at The Pearl at the Palms, 4321 W. Flamingo Road. Tickets are $33; call 944-3200.
