Nevada prison inmate dies in Reno

A 62-year-old Nevada inmate died of a medical condition Wednesday in Reno, prison officials said Friday.

Herminio Salinas of Clark County was serving four to 15 years for attempted lewdness with a minor. Salinas had been in prison since August 2012.

He was hospitalized in late February at Renown Regional Medical Center, where he died. An autopsy will be conducted.
